Tackle low-level crime and anti-social behavior, such as graffiti, littering, fly tipping and vandalism. Take names and addresses and control traffic. Encourage communities to work together and make things better for everyone. They do not make arrests. Wardens are out and about supporting communities between 7.30am and 10.00pm

KENT COUNTY COUNCIL FOSTERING

Kent County Council is planning to hold virtual fostering information events during this 2021. Due to Covid restrictions, all of the events are taking place virtually via Microsoft Teams. The events are monthly and are running on the following dates –



14th July 7pm

18th August 7pm

15th September 10am

12th October 7pm

16th November 7pm

8th December 10am




 Each event includes a presentation and current foster carers will share their own experiences as a foster carer. There are plenty of opportunities to ask questions.
You will hear about:

∙ The children and young people needing foster care
∙ How to become a foster carer, how to apply and what to expect from the assessment
∙ What is fostering?
∙ The different types of fostering our carers undertake
∙ The pay, career opportunities, rewards and the support we offer at Kent Fostering
