Election of councillors to the Beacon Road ward of
Broadstairs and St. Peter’s Parish Council
Notice is hereby given under Rule 5 of the Local Elections (Parishes
and Communities) (England and Wales) Rules 2006:
- There is a vacancy on the Parish Council due to resignation of Cllr Colin Kemp.
- A by-election to fill the vacancy will be held if, not later than Tuesday 12 May
2026, ten electors for the Parish Ward give notice in writing, claiming such an
election be held, to the Returning Officer. If no such notice is given the Parish
Council will fill the vacancy by co-option - The address of the Returning Officer is Election Office, Council Offices, Cecil
