Funding for Community and Voluntary Groups – Grants

Broadstairs and St Peter’s Town Council recognises the valuable contribution voluntary and community groups make to the lives of local people.  The Council sets an annual budget to provide financial assistance to such groups to enable them to provide a wide range of services and continue their work.  Grants and sponsorship are available via an application process.  Applications are reviewed and, if successful, approved at regular meetings of the Finance and General Purposes Committee and the Events, Leisure and Tourism Committee.

Applicants must meet certain eligibility criteria in order to be considered.  Please see link below and read the information carefully before applying.

Applications are welcome from charities, non-profit making organisations and voluntary groups.  Grants are available for a variety of purposes.

Projects might include buying equipment or training courses, developing your facilities, improving your building, rolling out new initiatives, growing or improving the service you provide or even just continuing to do something you know is successful.

To apply for this kind of grant please see the forms below.

If you wish to stage an event you can apply for sponsorship by filling out the form below.

If you are unsure whether your group or project is eligible, or if you need any assistance with the application process, please contact the Town Clerk at bsptc@broadstairs.gov.uk
