Broadstairs & St Peter’s Town Council are pleased to announce that, following the success of taking on the cultivation licence from Thanet Council last year for Victoria Gardens, we have successfully secured a 3-year licence for Victoria Gardens and have added Balmoral Gardens, two small circular beds at Pierremont Park and the War Memorial bedding to our portfolio.
In the coming weeks, we will be able to introduce a new gardener to our Team, who will help to continue with the great work that Colin and Vanessa started last year.
Colin and the Town Team spent the morning at Balmoral Gardens on Wednesday clearing a huge amount of the overgrown shrubs from the borders.
The gardens already are looking much tidier, and this hard cut back will really help the shrubs flourish. We would like to thank the Town Team for their help and time and look forward to working with them again in the future.
We are hopeful that the Broadstairs community will be able to see the difference that Colin and Vanessa, and our new member of staff, make to these areas over the coming months.
