This highly sensory piece will engage a wide audience through a spectacle of puppets, performance and music. Unique touches of technology combine with a craft inspired aesthetic to add a little unexpected wow of enchantment. Imagine a set teaming with butterfly life and two performer/musicians leading an interactive performance filled with a wide range of handcrafted butterflies and an original music score. Puppets will range from tiny life size flickers, to a large-scale wing inspired canopy. The piece explores the fascinating life cycle of the butterfly and how we can protect this amazing creature.

Trash to Treasure
Decorate your own butterfly and dragon wings!
Join us before between 11am to 1pm. To support local environmental initiatives, the council is hosting a ‘Trash to Treasure’ craft workshop before each family show. The sessions are free and open to all on a first-come, first-served basis. As part of a broader push to deliver a plastic-free theatre series, the workshops will focus on recycled materials.
