On Wednesday 16th July, the Mayor, Cllr Mike Garner had the privilege of meeting the amazing members of Inspiration Creative Choir to hand out achievement awards to members.
Inspiration Creative is Thanet’s inclusive creative arts company, offering a range of workshops each week including Drama, Dance, Art and Choir: sing and sign. Along with visiting local schools and residential settings for one-to-one sessions and group workshops. You may have seen them perform at last years Remembrance Service, offering BSL to members of the audience who are hearing impaired. If you missed this last year, you will be able to see them again at this years’ service too!
The Mayor said “I was grateful to be invited to attend the award ceremony, every certificate received was well deserved. I look forward to working along side inspiration creative this year as my chosen Mayoral Charity to support”
