Town Mayor, Cllr Mike Garner presented a cheque for £2000 to Julie Stitchbury from 21 Together, a local charity which delivers a range of social, educational wellbeing and community support programmes for children and young people with Down’s syndrome and their families.
Cllr Garner said, “21 Together was my nominated charity for 2024 – 2025 and this donation from my mayoral fund marked the end of the civic year. I’m pleased I’ve been able to raise money for them during the year to support their new Hub at the Wonderworks.”
