Mockett's Wood is a small, mature and pleasant wood in the village of St Peter's, Thanet. There is a free car park close by and some interesting views of the countryside. Just two acres in size, this wood has it's origins as an arboretum and was owned at one time by the Mockett family. This small woodland is a wonderful escape and dog walking area. 

On the 31st of January 2001 the ownership of an area of Mockett's Wood was transferred from Thanet District Council to Broadstairs and St. Peter's Town Council as a Centenary Community Woodland.
