Community Centre
The application to build a new community centre in Pierremont Park was unanimously approved by the Thanet District Council planning committee on the 16th July 2008. The Trust is currently seeking funds from various providers.

Town Centre Traffic Plan
The last stage of the Town Centre Traffic Plan at Queens Road and the signage should be completed by mid May 2010.
The purpose of the plan is to reduce traffic congestion and create a safer and healthier environment for residents and visitors.
Town Plan
The Town Plan will be launched at the Annual Town Assembly being held on Monday 15th March 2010 at the Broadstairs Pavilion at 7.30pm.

Town Trail Boards
Six of the twelve Town Trail Boards located around the Town have been replaced by the Town Council. Some had become untidy, vandalised and unreadable, and others needed to be updated. A Town Trail Guide can be purchased from local Visitor Information Centres and the Town Council Office.
Public Information Boards
Two new public information boards have been installed at St. Peter's Church on the corner of Vicarage Street and Hopeville Avenue, St Peter's and on the public amenity area at the top of the slipway leading to Dumpton Gap Beach. A third board has now been installed on the corner of George Hill Road and Kingsgate Avenue, Kingsgate.
